Spruce— Clothing, Lifestyle, (and Cafe!)

Lately we’ve been having fun dippin’ our toes into a new avenue of our business— and listening to the needs of our new area has us expanding in ways we never thought! Matcha, mochas, carrot cake, and frozen treats, oh my! The real interesting thing about this direction, however, is how much it’s lighting me up lately. For those who didn’t know me before Spruce, cafe work was one of my absolute favourites (more specifically, Toast Cafe), and hospitality my background, even in college. My younger self knew I was interested in entrepreneurship; however, I always thought it would be in food and beverage. Spruce was born so organically, without any actual retail experience, and evolved seemingly on its own. 7 years later— Spruce continues to organically evolve and grow, and I think that is exactly what it’s all about. Our beautiful new location stretched us in new ways of thinking and doing-- and I want to take this opportunity to truly thank you for being a part of it all! Thank you for cruising down to visit, enjoying the little things, and for your steady commitment to small businesses— we’re utterly grateful for the most amazing community!
